Pay Rates
*Frontier is in the last year of their contract. Their pay scale does not increase past the 2023 rates.

Lineholder: None

Foreign Language Speaker Premium Pay
Paid $2.00 per hour extra for each flight in which the flight attendant uses his or her language skills.
Only the most senior speaker will be given the extra pay if multiple speakers exist on the flight.
International Pay
Paid $2.00 per hour extra on each international pairing.

Deadhead Pay
All deadheads are paid at 100% for block or actual flight time, whichever is higher.
Reserve flight attendants do not receive deadhead pay unless flying over 75 hours.
Holiday Pay
Flight attendants flying on a holiday will be paid at 150%. If flying over 82 credit hours they will be paid at 200%.
Holiday Days: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. 5 Additional holidays are selected by the company each year.

Incentive Pay
Flight attendants will be paid 150% for all flying above 82 hours of credit.
Per Diem (as of 5/1/23)
Domestic - $2.20 per hour away from base
International - $2.20 per hour away from base
Vacation Pay and Accrual
Vacation Pay and Credit
Vacation credit depends on years of service.

Less than 5 years: 3.0 hours of credit per day
5 to 10 years: 4.0 hours of credit per day
10+ years: 5.0 hours of credit per day

Vacation Bidding
Vacation periods must be a minimum of 7 days unless a block of 11 days or more is split.

Sick Pay and Accrual
Sick Accrual
Flight attendants will accrue 4 hours of sick time for each month of active service. The bank will max out once reaching 700 hours.

Sick Pay and Usage
A flight attendant's sick hours will cover their missed flying or reserve at 100%, assuming they have enough sick time to cover the absence
Unused vacation may be used if a flight attendant's sick bank has run out.
Hours of Service
Minimum Days Off
Lineholders and mixed lineholders are required to have 11 days off free from duty in base. The flight attendant may choose to go below 11 days off by trip trading or picking up trips.
Reserves must have a minimum of 11 days free from duty in base. Four bid periods in the year will have 12 days off. There are 8 immovable days off of which 4 days will be designated by the flight attendant during the monthly bid process.
Retirement/401k
401k Contributions
Frontier will not begin matching contributions until a flight attendant has reached 1 year of employment
Frontier will match 100% the first 6% of a flight attendants contribution.

The total maximum company contribution is 6%

Parking
Frontier will pay for a parking pass at the flight attendants domicile.
If parking at a non-base where employee parking is available a flight attendant will only pay costs above what the company pays at their domicile.
A flight attendant may opt-out of parking and will will receive money equal to DEN parking rates.

Flight attendants have pass benefits on Frontier flights.

Jump-seating
Flight attendants have the privilege of jump-seating on Frontier flights. They may also jumpseat on other air carriers that have reciprocal agreements with Frontier.
Union Information
Union
Association of Flight Attendants (AFA)
Flight attendants are not required to maintain membership with the AFA as a condition of employment. Flight attendants that do not join the union will be required to pay a service charge equal to all the fees normally paid by union members.

Contract
The current contract is effective May 15th, 2019 to May 15th, 2024.
​
Probation
A flight attendant shall be on probation for the first 9 months of service after completing training.
